The K2001- P is a combination reader and PIN keypad for high security applications requiring both a fob and PIN to provide access. 

It can be used in the place of a K2001 or K2002 reader.  

The K2001-P is constructed of heavy gauge steel and adds the security of a specific Personal Identification Number for each user. It has a one to two inch read range. 

A time profile can be assigned to the PIN reader allowing the reader alone to allow access and then during after hours require both the reader and PIN. 

Documentation with this product says it is compatible with the K2000-AM or K2000-N controllers.  It may be compatible with later controller that were released after this documentation was printed.
